Chrysler's New Power Train Limited Warranty

Chrysler has discontinued its Lifetime Powertrain Warranty in exchange for the new 2010 5-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty.

The new warranty is a no hassle solution and will offer the owner superior options that were previously excluded from Lifetime. Benefits of the new warranty include subsequent owner coverage transfer at no cost, towing, and elimination of the 5-year powertrain inspection requirement. Chrysler responded to the voice of customers and modified coverage to be competitive with those automakers perceived to have the best warranties in the business. This change is representative of Chrysler's commitment to quality and the confidence and consideration for customers. Chrysler anticipates the change will promote a greater value to the customer and the benefits realized will increase loyalty to the brands.
